Week 5 (WB 8th February 2020)

This week, we are all looking at homophones. Homophones are words that sound the same yet they have different meanings. For example hear and here. I can hear you. I'm over here.

Look at your year group homophone mats. How are the words different in meaning? How are the words different in spelling?
Put your homophones into example sentences using them in the correct context. Please do not copy any examples from the mats. If you're not sure what the words mean, look them up in a dictionary or google it.

Please note, Year 4s will be tested on their list and any from the Year 3 list. Year 6 will be tested on any word from any year group list.
