Parents/Carers should telephone the school on the first and each day of the student's absence between 8.30 and 9.00 am. Parents should advise the school of the nature of the illness eg cough/cold/vomiting etc.
The school should be advised of all doctor/hospital or specialist medical appointments using the S2 form and if possible provided with written confirmation of the appointment.
Holiday and Other Absences
If parents wish to withdraw their child from school for any reason eg holiday/funeral etc, then they should complete a S2 form. The Head of School will consider their request and grant authorisation or not accordingly. Parents will be provided with a copy of the Head of School's decision.
